What we do:

Employment Ready is dedicated to providing individualized virtual job training and support services to assist persons with disabilities in successfully integrating into the community. This initiative is born out of a profound commitment to empowering people, particularly those who face significant barriers to employment, by equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in today’s competitive job market.  Employment Ready will focus on delivering a comprehensive and personalized job training and readiness program that is tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. It also focuses on community integration and ongoing employment support. 

Who we serve:

Our target demographics include individuals with disabilities, long-term unemployed individuals, recent immigrants, military veterans, and others who may face challenges in securing stable employment.  We aim to offer customized job training sessions that align with the specific skills, interests, and career aspirations of our participants. This will include life and time management training, resume building, interview preparation, and soft skills development. Beyond job training, our goal is to assist participants in integrating into the community by connecting them with local businesses, providing them with a network of peers, and providing ongoing support as they transition into the workforce.  

Our plan:

We plan to collaborate with our clients on the type of employment they seek and want to prepare for.  Our goal is to provide continuous learning opportunities for our participants.
